The European Confederation of Local Intermediate Authorities (CEPLI), created a dedicated page Local COVID-19 News showing examples of innovative local responses to the health crisis and highlighting the importance of provinces in coping with various local problems.

The Local Intermediate Authorities have taken initiatives since the beginning of the crisis to mitigate its effects, being on the frontline and building solidarity within their territories, in order to protect as much as possible their citizens and local economies.
